I. RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD (Ps. 63:1-4)
We value INTIMACY with God, living LIVES OF PRAYER, WORSHIP and DEVOTION and seeking HIS PRESENCE and REALITY (Phil. 4:4-7; Ps. 141:1-2; 145:18).
II. MATURITY (Col. 2:6-7)
We aim for CHRIST-LIKENESS, committing to becoming His DISCIPLES, seeking to live SPIRIT LED LIVES. We believe that the saying “BETTER CAUGHT THAN TAUGHT” represents the most effective way of learning. We value having and being MENTORS to encourage, befriend and hold accountable. We value hearing and being DOERS OF THE BIBLE (Mt. 28:18-20; Jam. 1:22; Lk. 16:10).
III. BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES
We desire to live lives that reflect Biblical truth in a culturally current way, never compromising the integrity of the Bible and always trying to communicate it in a modern, practical and understandable way (2Tim. 3:16-17).
IV. FULFILLING OUR DESTINY (Phil. 3:13-14)
We live with HOPE and PURPOSE and the willingness to LAY DOWN OUR LIVES for God. We desire to see every person in our church FUNCTIONING in their God given gifts (Romans 15:4; Eph. 2:10; Heb. 12:1-2; Col. 3:3; Acts 20:24; Rom. 6:3-4; Rom. 12:3-8; 1Pet. 4:10).
V. EVANGELISM (Mt. 28:19; Mk. 1:14-15)
We are called to PERSONALLY and CORPORATELY reach out to the community with words & deeds for the purpose of introducing people to Jesus. (2Tim. 4:17; 1Cor. 9:19; Is. 40:3; 42:6-7).
VI. SERVANT LEADERSHIP (Mk. 10:43-45)
We believe that Christ has put significant leadership responsibility in the hands of the pastor & associates. We aim to exercise those responsibilities with humility, selflessness, grace, care for the sheep and sincere desire to build up the body of Christ.
VII. RELATIONSHIPS WITH ONE ANOTHER ( Col. 3:12-14; 1Jn. 4:7-12; 1Cor. 12:12-13; 13:4-7)
We desire to become a FAMILY, learning how to SERVE and PRAY for one another, have FUN together, support one another through difficult times and do life together. We consider SMALL GROUPS to be the best environment for this to happen.
VIII. GLORIFY GOD (Phil. 3:3; 1Pet. 2:9)
We endeavor to be THANKFUL PEOPLE, HONORING GOD with our lives. (Ps. 145:2; 1Thess. 5:16)
IX. KINGDOM OF GOD (MT 10:7-23; Rev 21)
We believe that the GOOD NEWS about the KINGDOM OF GOD has a present & future reality. Presently we experience the presence, healing & gifts of God through the Holy Spirit who enables us to powerfully advance God’s Kingdom.
In the future we are promised heaven where we will live in God’s total presence for eternity.
